2020 Travel Tryouts

Hello Folks,

We are very excited about Manchester Blue Sox travel baseball for the upcoming 2020 season. We want to communicate the travel tryout dates for next years teams. Tryouts will be held on Saturday July 20th, 2019 and Saturday August 3rd, 2019 for 8-16-year olds at Christmas Tree Park.

We will also be holding a meeting for any travel coach interested in coaching next year on Monday July 8th at the North Carroll Senior Center from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  It is extremely important for you to attend this meeting if you plan on coaching a travel team in 2020. If you cannot attend this meeting please email Ben Lamp (baseball.ben@yahoo.com) and let him know, so he can setup a make-up date?

If you have any questions, please let Ben know.
Thank you,

Concession Stand Help

We are looking for volunteers in our concession stand at Christmas Tree Park Concessions are not only a convenience for our players and fans but also another way to help reduce costs for our program.  It allows us to host our opponents and provide food/drink for all those in attendance at our games. Misty Brathuhn and Jeffrey Howard do all the organization and purchasing of food but parent volunteers are needed to staff the concessions stand while games are being played.  Manchester Baseball will open and close/clean the concession stand when it is open.  Everyone will be briefed on how to work the stand, where things are, etc.

Rules from Manchester Baseball(since we are handling money)

  • Children can volunteer, but they MUST in high school.
  • 2 people must be in the stand at all times.

The following is the link to our Concession Stand Signup that includes the dates and times help is needed:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050f4ca9ac29a1fe3-2019

If you know that you cannot work the slot you’ve selected please email manchesterbaseball@gmail.com so we can find a replacement.
